Lithium ion LiFePo4 lfp Wall mount battery supplier from China
LFP Battery Wall Mounted
The EGbatt wall mounted home battery is a scalable energy storage system. It is an excellent solution for any on‑grid or off‑grid residential and commercial application, and is very popular among homeowners. With LiFePO4 cells built in, it provides clean, efficient, and long‑lasting energy.
Homes often contain many pieces of furniture or other small items. Keeping the battery system mounted on the wall keeps your home clean and tidy — say goodbye to mess. Since floors may not always stay completely dry, wall mounting keeps the battery storage system away from the risk of water damage. In addition, it is more user‑friendly for reading battery information and performing operation.

LiFePO₄ (LFP) vs. NCM Battery Chemistry
LiFePO₄ (LFP) is a type of rechargeable lithium‑ion battery, also known as lithium iron phosphate battery. There are different cell formats, with prismatic LFP cells and cylindrical LFP cells being the most popular. Our EGbatt wall mounted home battery uses large capacity prismatic LFP cells.
Longer Cycle Life – A high‑quality LFP battery is rated for 5,000+ cycles, ensuring reliable service for over 10‑15 years in energy storage applications.
Superior Safety – During charging and discharging, LFP batteries do not vent, and they will not catch fire or explode even if damaged beyond limits. Safety is always our top priority, which is why we choose the most efficient and safe LiFePO₄ battery for our wall mounted home energy storage system.
Energy and Capacity of Wall Mounted Home Battery
Typically, an EGbatt wall mounted home battery is available in capacities such as 2.5 kWh, 5 kWh, 7 kWh, and 10 kWh. The most popular options are 5 kWh and 10 kWh, mainly due to system weight considerations. A 5 kWh battery unit weighs approximately 48 kg, while a 10 kWh unit weighs about 98 kg. If you were to build a 20 kWh home battery, it would likely be too heavy to carry or install on the wall.
The most common home battery storage system is based on 48V. Therefore, we typically offer 48V 50Ah, 48V 100Ah, and 48V 200Ah configurations.
Tip: LiFePO₄ batteries generally come in two voltage variants based on internal cell configuration:
48V nominal – 15 cells in series (15 × 3.2V = 48V)
51.2V nominal – 16 cells in series (16 × 3.2V = 51.2V)
Please check with your battery supplier which voltage is offered. Both are acceptable, but we recommend 51.2V (16S) as the nominal voltage if price is not a major concern.
How Many Units Can Be Connected in Parallel?
Based on our current BMS, it supports up to 16 EGbatt wall mounted home battery units connected in parallel. For example, if you order the 48V 100Ah module, you can use 16 units in one system, resulting in a total capacity of 48V 1600Ah (approximately 81.9 kWh).

Inverter Consideration
Check the AC voltage of your grid. The most common standards are 220V and 230V. In the USA or Canada, it will be 120V or 240V. To build a reliable battery storage system, a qualified inverter is very important. Before choosing an inverter, you need to confirm what type of system you are building: off‑grid or on‑grid.
Off‑grid – A system for local use only.
On‑grid – The system can sell electricity to the grid when the battery is fully charged.
For most residential users, you will select a 48V hybrid inverter. Make sure it supports lithium‑ion batteries. The charging voltage can typically be set to 54V or 58V.
The last thing to check is the communication protocol: RS485 or CAN. Ensure it can communicate with the battery BMS. Confirm with your battery supplier whether their BMS supports your inverter in terms of communication.
Solar Panels for the Home Battery System
There is no fixed way to calculate how many solar panels you will need, as different regions receive different amounts of sunlight. As a rough guide, we can assume an average of 5 hours of effective sunshine per day. Based on that, a 300W solar panel can generate 1500Wh of power.
You would need approximately 3.3 panels of 300W to fully charge a 5000Wh EGbatt home battery. Since you cannot install 3.3 panels, you would install at least 4 panels. Keep in mind that the power generated also goes to your loads during the day, so the battery may not be fully charged in one day. You need to consider your load consumption as well. The same logic applies for 10kWh and larger systems.
Do I Need an MPPT to Charge the Home Battery?
Yes, you need an MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracker). Most popular inverters today include an MPPT built‑in. That is why we recommend using a hybrid inverter.
Is the Home Battery Waterproof? Can It Be Installed Outdoors?
The EGbatt wall mounted home battery is rated IP65, which provides basic protection against dust and water splashes. However, you should not expose it directly to rain. If you must install it outdoors, make sure to provide additional protection, such as a NEMA 3R enclosure, to safeguard the battery system.
Reality of DIY Home Battery Systems
As home battery systems become more popular, many electronics enthusiasts try to build their own — often called DIY. DIY can be a rewarding hobby, and it is fun to make something work with your own hands. However, we only encourage technically experienced individuals to take on such projects. You must truly understand how lithium‑ion batteries work. Otherwise, DIY can become a disaster rather than entertainment.
You might say, “I really understand how lithium batteries work, and I know everything about LiFePO₄ cells, battery packs, and BMS.” Does that mean DIY is worthwhile? The answer might surprise you for the following reasons:

Why Say No to DIY
DIY in this context means purchasing lithium battery cells and a BMS to build your own home battery system. Most of the time, DIY users do not know which BMS is suitable for a solar energy storage system in terms of discharge current and communication protocols. It is also difficult to obtain truly high‑quality lithium battery cells on the open market. Building a real LiFePO₄ wall mounted home battery is much more complicated than people think.
How can you be sure you are getting truly qualified cells? Battery cell manufacturers only sell cells to certain qualified customers. Most of the time, people buying cells on the market end up with B‑grade or other unqualified cells. Building a home battery with these cells and using it in your home poses a high risk to your property and your family’s safety.
A qualified battery pack factory performs tens of thousands of tests on cells and BMS. They have the ability to understand and control the risks.
Factories purchase tens of thousands of cells directly from the original cell manufacturers. They can obtain high‑quality cells at better prices.
As a matter of fact, DIY cannot help you save money — but it does bring fun. That might be disappointing, but that’s okay. Come to us and, for the same cost as your DIY project, get a finished, high‑quality home battery for your residential energy storage system.
